The Tale of The Few Quiet Pints

So here is the continuation of the story.

Right after the famous weekend in Cairns, me and Conor jumped into the car and began our journey down south. Damaged, bruised and extremely tired, well at least one of us, we hit the road.

Our first stop was Townsville, and from previous experience I wasn't expecting to much from this town. So we decided, lets go for few quiet pints, have few games of pool and just relax. So we did. We went to the Brewery, stayed there for a few. Then we decided to go to the Irish Pub, as you do on Monday evening. So we made our way to Molly Malone. The usual Irish establishment, couple of Irish lads chilling at the bar, so we joined them for few drinks. Then it turned out that the barman or bar-woman was Polish, owner from Cork, then some girls have arrived, some sailors... and the quiet night turned into lock in, dancing on the tables, free Mad Dog (wsciekle psy) shots... well I didn't expect that at all. Good night.

The next morning we made our way towards Airlie Beach and then Mackay (tfu). As the Airlie Beach is small but very picturesque town and definitely worth visiting, but Mackay (tfu) turned out to be completely dead, well I know it was Tuesday night, or evening, but there is absolutely nothing to do in this area. So we skipped this asap.
The next stop was Town of 1770, where we enjoyed long night at the free pool table playing with the locals. Nice place, but again, just for visit, other than that there is nothing there. Actually all the pictures are from there.
The next stop was Noosa... well we started our trip with the bang, so it turned out we finished it with it as well. Stayed in Nomads in Noosa and we actually didn't even managed to get out the hostel, cheap food, cheap drinks, killer pool, jaeger bombs... I think that's enough said. Again we met some cool people, which we also met later on in Brisbane.
The very next day I have arrived in Brisbane City Backpackers, and then another chapter of my Australian Adventure began. Sunday Sessions, $2 Coronas, Normanby, Suncorp Stadium, City of Lights and more and more and more, and most importantly heaps of new people to meet!

but that's it for now!
A.
